My name is Emilie Spinhoven and since January 2025 I have been working as the IUI Case Manager at Medisch Centrum Kinderwens. Together with my colleague Caroline, I am the first point of contact for single women and lesbian couples undergoing IUI treatment.

Having gone through a fertility journey myself for many years, I’ve developed a strong affinity for everything related to fertility. I also know from experience that a fertility journey can be quite the rollercoaster of hope and disappointment. Unfortunately, pregnancy isn’t something everyone can take for granted. That’s why I find it especially meaningful to offer a listening ear and provide personal guidance to women going through this process. Whether you need someone to talk to or have practical questions, I’m here for you – and I’ll help find answers within the clinic if needed.

I believe it’s important that patients feel seen and at ease throughout the process, and that they can easily reach out if they have questions or simply want to talk things through. A lot comes at you during a fertility journey, so it’s reassuring to have a consistent point of contact.
