Since 1 May 2025, I am the medical director at the Kinderwens Medical Centre and I will also work as a physician in reproductive medicine in the clinic.

My interest in reproductive medicine arose during my medical studies and was further strengthened during my PhD research and gynecology residency at the AMC (Amsterdam Medical Center).

After 21 years of working with great pleasure at the OLVG as a gynecologist and specialist in reproductive medicine, it was time for a new step: to MCK: a wonderful and progressive clinic, patient-focused and offering all treatments under one roof.

For many people, having a child is one of the most meaningful life events, but not something to be taken for granted. The impact of an unfulfilled desire to have children is significant. Through an open conversation, targeted diagnostics, and clear explanations, I work with the patient to determine the situation as clearly as possible. We then explore together which treatment options are appropriate and realistic.

I find the combination of my work as a fertility specialist and my role as medical director extremely valuable and challenging. It gives me the opportunity to work strategically with our team to provide high-quality, appropriate, and future-oriented care, while remaining closely involved in the daily care of our patients.
