The in vitro process with own cells involves the following steps:
Online consultation with a doctor
This is the first step to starting IVF treatment. During it, the doctor relies on medical records, takes a medical history and, on this basis, develops a detailed, patient-specific plan of action.
First visit to the clinic
During this visit, tests will be taken for qualification, consents will be signed by both partners, in your case an ultrasound will be performed and a stimulation plan will be established. In your case, a visit to the clinic may not be necessary. In the event that the partner is not available on the day of the egg collection, his semen may be frozen.
Start of stimulation (at your home location)
If the start of stimulation depends on the results of certain tests taken earlier, you will be notified in advance.
Follow-up visit and egg collection
The first follow-up visit must take place on day 9-10 of stimulation. Further decisions will be made based on its progress (setting the next monitoring or the date of the ovarian puncture).
At this stage, the necessary blood tests will be performed and the whole stage will end with an ovarian puncture under brief general anaesthesia (total length of stay in the clinic up to 1 week maximum).
Embryo transfer
This stage involves a maximum of 2 visits to the clinic, including embryo transfer.
Confirmation of pregnancy (at your home location)
Our medical team will provide you with care and advice also at this stage. If additional consultations will be needed needed - you can have them by phone or online.
