About me

I think I've always wanted to be a doctor, certainly from my early years in primary school. Then, already during my studies, I became interested in gynaecology. During my 6.5 years of specialisation training at the Department of Gynaecology, Obstetrics and Gynaecology-Oncology in Bytom, I became involved with centres helping infertile couples. It was a time of intensive learning, numerous training trips and gaining experience for me. During this time, I completed postgraduate studies in health care management and defended my doctoral thesis on the topic of male infertility with distinction. I gained professional experience through internships and visits to gynaecological centres also abroad (Denmark, Spain, USA, Belgium).

Infertility treatment and clinical genetics

Infertility treatment has become my passion. I believe that determination is extremely important in the medical profession, but humility is equally important. The former leads to new solutions - the latter makes me demanding above all on myself and I am always looking for answers... Therefore, a few years later, clinical genetics appeared - for me, a new specialisation, a rapidly developing field of medicine, without which it will soon be difficult to imagine any medical procedure. Even now, genetics often provides answers to questions that were unanswerable until recently.

I commit myself wholeheartedly to what I do. I build good relationships with my patients - I focus on mutual understanding and trust, and we always make decisions about treatment together.

Education and professional experience

In 2016, I started working at the Silesian Medical University combining scientific activity with teaching. I am the author and co-author of dozens of literature items (articles and book chapters). I am working on further publications to make this list gradually longer. I regularly participate in national and international training courses, conferences and congresses in obstetrics and gynaecology, reproductive medicine, endocrinology and genetics.
