Dr Erik Hauzman

Education

Dr Hauzman received his MD (Doctor of Medicine) at Semmelweis University of Medical Sciences, specialising in obstetrics and gynaecology. In 2002, Dr Hauzman completes his PhD at Semmelweis University Faculty of Medicine.

Fellowships and further experience

During and after his PhD, Dr Hauzman completed research fellowships in Boston, USA, and Münster, Germany. His research focused on predicting IVF outcomes, preimplantation genetic diagnosis and endometrial receptivity, making significant contributions to advancements in fertility treatments. He then went on to serve as senior consultant gynaecologist in Madrid, Spain, for five years. As a result of his international experience, Dr Hauzman is fluent in multiple languages, including English, Hungarian and French, as well as Italian, German, Spanish and Russian.

Memberships and review papers

Dr Hauzman is a member of the European Society for Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE), the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) and the Hungarian Society of Assisted Reproduction (MART), as well as the Hungarian Society for Obstetrical and Gynaecological Sonography (HSUOG) as well as the Spanish Fertility Society (SEF). He was also the Associate Editor of the scientific journal Human Reproduction between 2010 and 2014, and has been a reviewer of this journal since 2006.
