When choosing a fertility clinic, success rates can be a helpful part of the decision-making process. These figures show overall clinic outcomes based on verified HFEA data. Individual results vary, and success rates do not predict an individual’s chance of having a baby, as outcomes depend on factors such as age, medical history, diagnosis, and treatment pathway.

TFP Belfast Fertility is licensed by the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority (HFEA), the UK regulator of fertility treatment. All licensed fertility clinics in the UK, including those in Northern Ireland, are required to submit treatment and outcome data to the HFEA, which independently verifies and publishes this information through its Choose a Fertility Clinic service.
The fertility clinic success rates shown below use the two measures selected by the HFEA for clinic comparison and are based on live birth outcomes from treatments using patients’ own eggs.
What this shows
The percentage of patients who had a baby following an egg collection, including all fresh and frozen embryo transfers arising from that collection. If more than one baby is born (for example twins), this is counted as one birth event. Treatments using donor eggs are excluded.

This chart shows the proportion of embryo transfers that resulted in a live birth for patients treated at TFP Belfast Fertility. Outcomes vary between individuals, and this data reflects overall clinic results rather than an individual’s chance of having a baby.
*This data shows the number of live births per embryo transferred from IVF and ICSI treatment cycles using patients’ own eggs. Results include both fresh and frozen embryo transfers.
