Our history
TFP GCRM Fertility was established in 2006 by a small team created by Professor Richard Fleming, embryologist Paul Mitchell, and clinician Marco Gaudoin. During this time, Professor Fleming conducted research and discovered that the anti-müllerian hormone (AMH) could be utilised to predict a woman’s ovarian reserve. This finding provided a deeper understanding of fertility and improved success rates by allowing us to tailor protocols to each patient's ovarian response.
Within our first year, we carried out 190 IVF cycles and have since celebrated various milestones, including the world’s first conception through IVF using time-lapse technology in 2012 and the birth of our 5000th baby in October 2024.
