We're proud to be partnered with Bupa as we support you on your assisted fertility journey. As one of Bupa's trusted fertility partners, we guarantee the care and compassion you need as you embark on your journey to parenthood.
If you have invested in Bupa health insurance or receive these benefits through your workplace, you can access the Bupa Fertility Programme. To find out what services you are eligible for, you'll need to contact your Bupa Account Manager or Intermediary Partner.
Expert care: Bupa partners with fertility clinics to offer personalised fertility treatment tailored to your needs.
Comprehensive services: From initial consultations and diagnostic tests to advanced treatments like IVF, IUI and ICSI, Bupa ensures you receive the very best care.
If you think you're eligible for Bupa Fertility Programme, you can follow the below steps:
1. Contact Bupa
If you are a Bupa member you will need to contact Bupa directly to obtain a pre-authorisation code.
The code is valid for 31 days, so if you have not started your treatment within this time, you'll need to request a new one.
2. Fertility assesment
Once we receive your pre-authorisation code, we will schedule a fertility assessment for you and your partner, if required. This assessment will provide an overview of your fertility health. This typically includes an ovarian assessment for females and a semen analysis for males.
3. Initial consultation
After the assessment, one of our fertility experts will review your results and suggest any treatments or lifestyle changes that may enhance your chances of a successful pregnancy. Together, you'll decide on a personalised treatment that works for you.
4. Your fertility treatment
Once your treatment has been decided, you'll begin your treatment. You'll attend a nurse planning appointment, where we will provide guidance and teach you how to administer your medication.
5. Ongoing support
If you have any questions or concerns, our Patient Support team is always available to support you.
You'll also be able to keep track of your appointments on our Patient Portal.
When you start your fertility journey with Bupa, here’s what you can expect:
Diagnostic tests - We offer comprehensive tests for individuals and couples to assess your fertility health.
Specialist consultation - One of our fertility experts will guide you through your results and the options best suited to your needs.
Treatment plan - If needed, we'll provide a personalised treatment plan that suits your preferred pathway to parenthood.
It's important to understand surrogacy and reversal of voluntary sterilisation are not included in the programme. Moreover, further fertility treatments beyond initial diagnostics are also excluded, unless additional cover is chosen.
